Ikebana design taster - Wednesday 20 August 2025 @ 10am - 12.30pm

£50.00

Join us for this relaxing Ikebana taster session - this workshop is perfect if you are curious about Ikebana and wish to learn a bit more!

Ikebana dates back to the 6th century when Budhist monks made floral offerings for altars. There is a great emphasis on seasonality and minimalism and thoughtful placement of stems that is akin to nature.

You will be provided with stunning, seasonal branches, stems and flowers - as well as a suitable container and kenzan.

Take your creations home with you at the end of the workshop as a memento of what you have learned.
