Ikebana dates back to the 6th century when Budhist monks made floral offerings for altars. There is a great emphasis on seasonality and minimalism and thoughtful placement of stems that is akin to nature.
You will be provided with stunning, seasonal branches, stems and flowers - as well as a suitable container and kenzan.
Take your creations home with you at the end of the workshop as a memento of what you have learned.
